Whitening can get your smile looking its best. Over-the-counter products may be ineffective in reducing the staining of your teeth and can often lead to unsatisfactory results. Dental whitening has undergone a series of technological advancements over the last few years. Zoom3! is the latest in breakthrough technology that allows for decreased post-treatment sensitivity with an improved lighting system. The 2-hour long chairside process (including molds of teeth and pre/post photographs) uses a high intensity ultraviolet lamp that activates a hydrogen peroxide gel for cycles of 15 minutes. Typically, 4: 15-minute cycles can be tolerated by patients with minimal discomfort. After treatment, a set of bleaching trays will be presented that patients will be able to ‘touch up’ whenever necessary.
